This site is a tribute to Richard Brazier, who was born in Hartlepool on July 22, 1952. He is much loved and will always be remembered. Richard was diagnosed with a relatively rare form of cancer called a plasmacytoma in 2023 and whilst it was difficult for the team at the Royal Marsden to diagnose, and therefore treat, this developed into something called multiple myeloma as it spread from his leg into the rest of his body. It was a particularly agressive cancer and we would like to ask you to donate to Myeloma UK so that they can continue their work in trying to understand and treat this disease as well as supporting people that are diagnosed with it.
